There is Nothing to See Here is a self portrait taken on a security camera which then was transformed into a painting. Adding my own hair and leaving remnants of my room on the painting such as dust and dirt. This painting is accompanied by a small video of when I recorded myself in my room with security cameras for 28 days during the global pandemic. Intrigued by the still nude model, this project focuses on the passive non-performing female body. Taking it out of the private space into the public, giving access to objectification and the viewers gaze. A shared moment of intimacy.
